
Dante Enage is a visual artist from Tacloban City, Leyte. His work blends cultural identity with environmental advocacy. He draws inspiration from Pintados patterns and Baybayin motifs. Through his art, he explores themes of heritage, resilience, and ecological awareness.
In 2013, he gained national recognition after winning First Place at the Philippine Visual Arts Festival for his work Paint Not Bomb. Since then, he has showcased his art both locally and internationally. His exhibitions include Art Expo Malaysia (2013), shows in France and Italy (2024), World Art Dubai (April 2025), and the 10th Beijing International Art Biennale (December 2025).
In 2017, he received the Sangyaw Award for Visual Arts. At the same time, Greenpeace recognized him as a climate โart-ivist.โ He also earned awards at the GSIS National Art Competition in 2022, 2023, and 2025.
Beyond his personal work, Dante founded Kolor Banwa, a collective that supports Waraynon artists. Through this initiative, he continues to promote local talent and strengthen the regional art community.
