Richard Perez is a visual artist from Naga City, Camarines Sur. He specializes in mixed media, combining threads and acrylic in his paintings. His works often feature textured impressionistic landscapes, while some explore abstract styles.

For four years, he worked as an in-house artist at Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar. After that, he returned to Bicol and began conducting art workshops and tutorials, especially during summer. In addition, he created commissioned wall murals in Naga City and in Agusan del Norte, Mindanao.

Throughout his career, he has participated in numerous exhibitions. Since 1994, he has joined more than 50 group exhibitions in the Bicol region. He has also taken part in nearly 30 group shows in Metro Manila. Alongside these, he has held a total of six solo exhibitions in Manila.
