Samuel Iñigo Marasigan
A stone artist from Camarines whose practice is rooted in balance, patience, and storytelling. He began his artistic journey through rock balancing, where he developed a deep understanding of form, weight, and harmony. Seeking to create works with lasting presence, he evolved his practice into long-term stone sculptures that preserve the essence of balance while embracing permanence. Working under his studio, El Arte Marasigan, his artworks explore meaningful themes such as family portraits, symbolizing unity, love, and generational continuity. He is also known for conceptual pieces inspired by Ant Mentality, reflecting discipline, cooperation, and collective strength. Signature works like “Keepers of an Empire” embody leadership, responsibility, and the weight of legacy. Alongside these, Marasigan creates religious and faith-based sculptures that express devotion, sacrifice, and spiritual grounding. Through natural stone and thoughtful composition, his work transforms stillness into enduring narratives of faith, family, and purpose.
