Niño Marasigan

Niño Iñigo Marasigan is a self-taught visual artist born on April 27, 1999, in Minalabac, Camarines Sur, Philippines. His artistic journey began in high school when he discovered his creativity through a school project. By the age of 18, he started accepting commissioned paintings, marking the beginning of his professional career. He pursued his studies at Naga College Foundation. During this time, he secured an X-deal with the school owner, exchanging his artwork for tuition support. This opportunity strengthened his belief that art can serve both as a form of expression and a sustainable profession. Marasigan gained early recognition after winning 3rd Place at the Pagkarahay Regional Painting Competition. He also received an award from the NCCA for his short film Ako ay Bankang Papel, which he directed. Driven by a desire to stand out, he chose to pursue art full-time. In his search for originality, he developed his signature stone art. This medium helped him build a unique and recognizable identity in the art scene. Today, collectors across the Philippines and abroad own his works. His collectors include celebrities, lawyers, doctors, and other prominent individuals. Guided by his life philosophy, “When you believe, you can achieve,” Niño Marasigan continues to create art that reflects perseverance, innovation, and a strong connection to his roots.

Oliver Marquez

Oliver Marquez As an artist is a testament to perseverance, cultural awareness, and an unwavering commitment to artistic excellence. Born on April 30, 1974, in Angeles City, Pampanga, he was raised in a family deeply involved in wildlife illustration, an early exposure that shaped his artistic foundation. However, his journey was not without obstacles. The eruption of Mt. Pinatubo forced his family to relocate to Malolos, Bulacan, disrupting his formative years in art. Despite financial limitations preventing him from formally pursuing Fine Arts, Marquez enrolled in a Drafting course at Bulacan State University in 1993. Though technical in nature, this education did not satisfy his artistic aspirations. His father, a respected painter, became his mentor, instilling in him discipline and a profound respect for the power of visual narratives. For over a decade, Marquez set aside his artistic pursuits to run a sign-making business. However, in 2011, a friend’s encouragement reignited his passion for painting, marking his return to the art world with renewed purpose and depth. Ombok Villamor

OMBOK VILLAMOR (b. 1979) is a painter, sculptor, and philanthropist. Villamor’s creations are inspired by his deep appreciation for and dedication to the preservation of the marine biosphere. His art is a whimsical integration of stylized-figurative and non-representational forms. His works signify balance, beauty, flow, symmetry, grace, sanctuary, and calibration—all representations of a flourishing ecosystem and aligned with Villamor’s mantra of immersing in and giving back to the communities he serves. The Omvi Art Gallery, where he serves as managing director, exemplifies this, focusing on artists from the regions. Having spent some of his younger years as a fisherman, Villamor considers his gallery a haven for artists, particularly those in need. Color composition is one of Villamor’s distinctive focuses. As a superb colorist, he further enhances the beauty of his pieces. He manipulates hues with almost scientific precision—carefully selecting and placing the main, accent, harmonious, and complementary colors—making his paintings vibrant and full of energy. As a sculptor, he combines traditional techniques with technological advancements to create sleek and organic sculptures. His works are defined by movement, rhythm, and elegance.
